Bara Cookie
A cookie consent tool that actually blocks things. Tags stay inert until the visitor says yes, and the choice is written down in a form that stands up to a regulator.
The problem it exists for
Most cookie banners do not block anything. The page loads Google Analytics, the tag fires, and the banner appears afterwards to ask permission for something that already happened. A banner that appears after the tracking is decoration.
Bara Cookie keeps the tags inert until the visitor says yes, from a single script tag, and records what was agreed to — when, and to which categories. When an enforcement action lands, someone has to show that consent was asked for and freely given. A cookie sitting in a browser does not prove that.

Strictly necessary is always on and not askable — the things a site cannot work without, including remembering the cookie choice itself under ePrivacy Art. 5(3). Preferences covers choices a visitor makes, like language or theme. Statistics covers aggregate measurement that does not identify anyone.
Reject is exactly as prominent as accept, because a rejection that takes more clicks than an acceptance is not a free choice.
Where it stands
It runs on our own projects. It is not open to the public yet.
